An instrumental part of Public Strategies for more than 10 years, Sammye Cravens oversees the day-to-day business operations, financial practices, and contractual obligations of the company. Her preparation and execution of strategic plans and precise analysis of outcomes make her contributions invaluable to Public Strategies’ success. Understanding that great people drive real solutions to problems, Cravens provides oversight to all human resource functions, but she further interviews every employee during the hiring process. Under her guidance, Public Strategies was named one of the 30 Best Places to Work in Oklahoma for four consecutive years. Prior to joining Public Strategies, Cravens’ business-savvy skills grew from experience in lead financial positions with McDonald’s Corporation, Oklahoma Tourism and Recreation Department, and Oklahoma City-based Eateries, Inc. Cravens is a Certified Public Accountant (CPA), Chartered Global Management Accountant (CGMA) and graduate of the University of Central Arkansas, where she received a bachelor’s degree in business administration.
