Vice President

With a passion for revitalizing and engaging communities through multifaceted interventions, Sandino L. Thompson leads PS’ national portfolio in the areas of employment and workforce development (EWD) and community revitalization while contributing substantially to broader training and technical assistance contracts designed to improve program performance in governmental and community-based organizations. Thompson provides guidance to federal consulting contracts designed to improve TANF (Temporary Assistance to Needy Families) services, especially around employment, and provides oversight to an innovative Oklahoma-based project that is receiving high acclaim for its success in training TANF and SNAP (Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program) clients through a unique program design, with an increase in employment outcomes. Since 2010, Thompson has also served as the Executive Director for It’s My Community Initiative (IMCI), a community-based organization in Oklahoma City. He has previously managed large-scale, multi-million-dollar construction and renovation projects throughout the United States, including whole neighborhood rebuilding efforts following Hurricanes Katrina, Rita and Ivan, which devastated the Gulf Coast States. Thompson received a bachelor’s degree in Construction Management Engineering Technology with a minor in Political Science from Oklahoma State University. He is responsible for oversight of PS’ direct-to-consumer services designed to assist Oklahomans in achieving self-sufficiency; the firm’s national and state employment and workforce development consulting; and the team’s engagement in community revitalization.
