May 15, 2013 – Public Strategies was honored by the Oklahoma Business Ethics Consortium for its joint efforts with SandRidge Energy to promote cultures of character: do what’s right, do your best and treat others well. The Award for Community Impact in Education recognizes the organizations’ efforts to work with principals, teachers, students and families to make a difference in northeast Oklahoma City public schools. Through highly interactive school-wide assemblies, behavior health interventions that provide additional support to students, a youth leadership development program, and a volunteer-based literacy initiative, students are learning the character traits that will contribute to their future success.
