A proven leader in the human services consulting field, Kendy Cox has provided both state and federal level leadership for decades. She has managed large contracts for the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services, Oklahoma Human Services, and other national-scale projects. Cox oversees Public Strategies’ portfolio of federal human services consulting projects, manages the technical assistance and research teams across a range of policy areas, and provides subject-matter expertise and leadership to this highly sought aspect of Public Strategies’ business.
Cox has been involved in Public Strategies’ family strengthening work since the early 2000s, creating innovative direct service, policy, and training & technical assistance (TTA) solutions. She regularly develops effective innovations related to program and process development; program recruitment, retention, and completion; performance management; strategic planning for target populations; and curriculum delivery and fidelity. Additionally, she consults with human-service agencies and community-based systems to seamlessly integrate effective relationship education services. Cox also oversees state and federal family strengthening, technical assistance, and evaluation projects.
Cox is respected for her work in directing the nation’s longest-running statewide family-strengthening initiative, which provides state and national policy leadership around innovative strategies to improve family quality, increase family stability, and reduce poverty. She received her bachelor’s degree in communications from Oklahoma City University.
